Carbonless Books and Pads
At CMYK Colour Online we provide extensive options for carbonless (NCR) printing. We print both books and pads in duplicate, triplicate and quadruplicate in a number of different sizes.
When ordering carbonless books or pads, it is important that all artwork has been set correctly. To assist you in doing this we have included helpfull information, images, diagrams and links to guideline templates on the page below:

Consecutive Numbering
If you require consecutive numbering, please choose this option when selecting your quantity. Whilst doing this you will also be required to indicate what number you would like the numbering to
start from as well as the position of the numbering (see screenshot below).
- Please note, the minimum area for consecutive numbering is 25 x 15mm.
- Numbering cannot be placed closer than 40mm to the perforation.
- Consecutive numbering cannot exceed seven digits.
- Numbering is roughly 5mm high.
- Numbering is always printed in RED.
- Consecutive numbering cannot contain letters or symbols.

Carbonless Books
We offer carbonless books in A4, A5, DL and A6 sizes
Pricing for carbonless books can be found by clicking here and navigating to the item that you require.
- Books are quarter bound with crocodile board cover and include a fold in pressure plate
- Printed on quality NCR (No carbon required) paper stock
- Printed in one colour only. This can be a PMS colour (Pantone Solid Uncoated), or Process Black. Please note, full colour (CMYK) printing is not available.
- Consecutive numbering included (optional)
- Terms and conditions on the back of the top copy (additional price)
- Top copies perforated and bottom copy fixed
- All pages must have identical artwork.
- External bleed is not available. All printing must be kept at least 6 mm from the edge of the tear-off page size.
Tear off size for Books:
A4 Book (Portrait) Bound at the LHS = 204 x 310mm
A4 Book (Portrait) Bound at the Head = 215 x 299mm
A5 Book (Portrait) Bound at the LHS = 137 x 215mm
A5 Book (Portrait) Bound at the Head = 150 x 204mm
DL Book (Portriat) Bound at the Head = 99 x 204mm
A6 Book (Portrait) Bound at the LHS = 87 x 155mm
A6 Book (Portrait) Bound at the Head= 105 x 137mm
All book sizes except DL can be bound either at the LHS (left hand side) or the HEAD (top). DL carbonless books must always be bound at the short edge (this is the HEAD for portrait books, or the LHS for landscape books).
Artwork can be supplied in either portrait or landscape orientation.

We offer carbonless pads in A4, A5, DL and A6 sizes

- Pads are standard bound with a soft cover and include back board and fold in pressure plate
- Printed 1 colour on quality NCR (No carbon required) paper stock
- Printed in one colour only. This can be a PMS colour (Pantone Solid Uncoated), or Process Black. Please note, full colour (CMYK) printing is not available.
- Consecutive numbering included (optional)
- Terms and conditions on the back of the top copy (additional price)
- No perforation, all pages are designed to be torn out
- All pages must have identical artwork.
- External bleed is not available. All printing must be kept at least 6 mm from the edge of the tear-off page size.
Finished size for Pads:
A4 Pad = 210 x 297 mm
A5 Pad = 148 x 210 mm
DL Pad = 99 x 210mm
A6 Pad = 105 x 148mm
Pads are always glued at the short edge of the artwork (this is the HEAD for portrait pads, or the LHS for landscape pads).
Artwork can be supplied in portrait or landscape orientation.
