Wire binding (also known as ‘Wiro’ Binding) is the process of binding a book along the spine with wire loops. This allows the pages to lay flat when opened.
Exclusively printed in Australia, we offer an enormous range of different wire binding options. You can choose from a vast array of cover types and stocks (Clear PVC protective outer covers, Black leathergrain back covers and a wide range of premium stocks, synthetic stocks & laminates for the inner covers). We also offer a huge assortment of stocks for the internal / text pages, printed in full colour or black and white and bound using black or white wire.
Available in a range of sizes and quantities as small as 5 books, wire bound books with are perfect for on demand and short run jobs.
Wire bound books are a durable, cheap, effective, and stylish solution for cookbooks, manuals, presentation documents, sales catalogues, product guides, visitor guides, promotional booklets, children’s colouring in books, technical booklets, and much more. Choose a combination of our synthetic (water, oil & tear resistant) stocks for the covers and internal pages for a truly durable, wipeable and long last product.
Printing Options
These printed wire bound books come in a multitude of product combinations.
Sizes:
- A4, A5, DL, A6 and custom sizes between 105x 148mm and 210 x 297mm
Printing:
- Inner front and back covers printed full colour one or two sides. Internal / text pages printed full colour or black and white throughout.
Orientations:
- Landscape and Portrait bound on both the long and short edges
Paper Stocks:
- Clear PVC outer front cover, or no outer front cover.
- Clear PVC or Black Leathergrain outer back cover, or no outer back cover
- Inner front and back covers printed on: 235gsm & 280gm Coated Front/Uncoated Back (High Bulk Bleach Board), 250gsm & 350gsm Gloss Artboard, 250gsm & 350gsm Matt-Satin Artboard, 250gsm & 350gsm Recycled Matt-Satin Artboard, 250gsm & 350gsm Recycled Uncoated Board, 250gsm & 350gsm Uncoated Board, 280gsm & 350gsm Linen Uncoated Board, 297um (185gsm) / 381um (225gsm) / 508um (283gsm) 2-Tone Brown Kraft, 261gsm Matt-Satin Synthetic or 420gsm artboard. Gloss, matt and velvet laminate is available on our coated stock options.
